Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Proof28 when you use the app. We've kept them as human-readable as we can — but they do matter, so please read them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing or using Proof28, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What Proof28 is

Proof28 is a skincare photo-tracking app. It helps you take consistent daily photos over a 28-day cycle and uses AI visual analysis to describe visible changes between the photos you choose to compare. It exists for informational and personal-tracking purposes only.

3. Not medical advice

Proof28 is not a medical device and is not regulated as one. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any skin condition or disease. All results are visual observations only — they describe what can be seen in your photos, nothing more. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or medical professional about any skin concern, and stop using any product that causes irritation or a reaction.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. You must be at least 17 years old to use Proof28.

5. Subscriptions and billing

6. Your photos and content

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Intellectual property

The Proof28 name, logo, design and all content within the app (other than your own photos and content) are owned by Proof28. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

Proof28 is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: any skin reactions or conditions; any decisions you make based on AI analysis results; loss of data; or any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — although if you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home nation's courts where consumer law gives you that right.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
